Overview:
Backstory of the work.

GBO Vision is an Istanbul company that builds AI products and custom software for law firms, banks, valuation firms and clinics: Kollektor for collection calls, Hastam for clinic phone lines, Intelval for property valuation reports, and Fountible.

The site had to explain very different products in one place, earn the trust of careful Turkish enterprises, rank in Turkish search and bring in demo requests. I designed and built it in Astro, in Turkish and English.

The Face.
A hero that talks back.

Instead of a stock illustration, the hero is a live particle face built with three.js. It follows your cursor, or the tilt of your phone, and when you call the AI assistant from the page it lip-syncs to the voice, in Turkish or English.

Getting it right took around twenty logged checkpoints. My bar was simple: never a robotic or fish-like mouth, and nothing that felt uncanny. Even the call button moved, from a disc on the face, which read like a horror film, to a pill below it. The unglamorous part mattered too: an iOS crash mid-call was fixed, and style recalculations during playback went from about 120 every two seconds to zero.

Demos.
Show the call, not the claim.

Each product gets an animated sample call: the caller's phone on one side and the operator's live view on the other, with the transcript, the checks the AI runs and the result as it lands. The calls are translated from Turkish and clearly marked as sample data.

System.
Figures, colour & language.

A set of isometric figures explains how the work gets done without stock imagery, and colour carries meaning: green when the system is running, amber when it is waiting on a person. Amber replaced a tomato red that read as a failure.

Turkish lives at the root and English under /en, driven by one route table for canonical links, language alternates and the sitemap. The blog stays Turkish-only, because thin English copies would hurt more than help.

The Impact.
Shipping & Outcome.

The site is live in both languages at gbovision.com, and the face shipped in September 2026.

It was also an exercise in directing AI. Agents drafted the Turkish copy guide, the contact-page research and the lip-sync spec, while the taste calls stayed with me: which version of the face, which colour, which words.
